The pharmacy got a vaccine shipment and offered them for boosters, so we went. Just got a follow-up text from the BC government telling me "You have been immunized with Moderna mRNA-1273," offering links for aftercare, a survey on the experience, and a link to vaccination record.

Previous two vaccinations were Pfizer. Had no side-effects from either. It's been about 4 hours since the Moderna and arm is sore, but nothing else otherwise.Grateful we can get boosters.Billions are still going without their first shot.#PeoplesVaccine #VaccineEquity

Wealthy countries can afford to take measures now to slow the spread, prevent illness, disability, and death, and use their resources to vaccinate the world. They should act urgently to do so. It's immoral not to.https://twitter.com/OmanReagan/status/1480663150269591552

In case you wonder why we didn't get boosted sooner. We actually made the earliest possible appointment here as soon as it was available, and it was for January 20th. No earlier booster would have been possible. So this was 10 days earlier than we ever expected to be able to.

I encourage everyone to get fully vaccinated and get a booster as soon as it's available to you. The vaccines are essential, they may save your life, they do reduce transmission. They are not enough *alone* to end the pandemic, especially when wealthy countries are hoarding them.
