@tangleofsnakes I first read about FGM at 15 and it totally devastated me. I thought I already knew of all the worst things men did to us. And then I found out I was wrong.

I've read the horror stories as well. As someone who's been through a lot of pain from health issues, what I went through isn't even close to what those girls suffer. At least I had anaesthesia and pain meds. They get nothing.

The world would be better if they did. I find the horrible things these men say online are a truth of their character they share with the world. They like hurting women, and what they act out in online spaces translates into real life as well.Listen to what they're saying, they're telling you exactly who they are and what they're willing to be. It's not just online, these are men hurting women in real life. This is who they are and this is how they think. The internet provides a valuable look into the mind of average men. Before people would ask, "how could they," when instead they should at look at their online activity. The answer is always there, always.It is startling, and it is a majority of them. Every comment section I see vile things and I know they're acting out those thoughts. There are women and girls in their lives, and the things they believe are the things they act out. So when I see comments like this....I just wonder who they're abusing in real life.
