Honestly "if children could vote they'd ruin society" sounds too much to me like "if women/blacks could vote they'd ruin society".Now, I'm certain those claims are all true. The issue is what "ruin society" means. Seems to me like what it means is it'd damage the unjust system of power that oppresses that group of people.Also obviously democracy is all bullshit and no one should vote.Just some thoughts :anime_think:

Make no mistake: slave societies were *built* on slavery. Without slavery, the society would not function. If the society depends on some unjust system of power to function, it can't be taken away and expected to keep functioning. Which means we have to choose between slave society and freedom for slaves. I think the latter is the better choice. Maybe some people disagree.

@yoki I could look into the demographics of Trump voters but I'm honestly not interested. Highly doubt it's majority children though. Especially since they can't even vote. But feel free to prove me wrong.

@miria I meant supporters, not voters. It's just anecdotal evidence, no real proof. Unless you abolish the parental system and completely reform the schooling system, I would be worried about letting children vote...

@yoki "Women/blacks are uneducated so they shouldn't vote" was also a thing, but again, that's just blaming the victim. It's the system's fault, not the victim's.
