       @fatboyGood read, feels like he is missing point with the gaming part though. We gotta start from somewhere, proton is a good start but native games are end goal.I hope.

       @fatboy I almost had my dad switched over permanently. He used Ubuntu for about 5 years. But when Ubuntu dropped GNOME in favour of their own desktop environment, he didn't much like it and didn't want to learn something else. He ended up buying a Mac, which I guess is a marginal improvement over being a windows user.

       @fatboy got my in-laws to switch to Ubuntu 5 years ago. But even better: I switched a youth center Internet café to Ubuntu (set to reset itself on logout/login). Support went to zero for the lifetime of the machines, new machines are provisioned with Ansible.
