It has barely been 6 months since my 2nd shot and now they want me to get a 3rd one or else I won't be able to go to restaurants without a test or whatever. Jokes on them, I've only been to a restaurant once since the pandemic started and I've barely been leaving my room while in Paris, so as long as I can travel with 2 shots they can continue crying about how the pandemic is still ongoing because of the unvaccinated when that's clearly not how vaccines work.

And if I already got the virus multiple times after being vaccinated, my antibodies got the reminder they needed. Yet they don't keep track of that.Plus, mutation or not, as far as I'm aware, the third shot is the same as the first and second so it has nothing to do with them.Unlike what the government is saying, having everyone vaccinated isn't going to magically make the virus disappear or stop cases, and that's what I find ridiculous.

@Byakuya @lain @orekix The RSI was the system that fused diverse social dues into one, it became the new social security regime for independent workers, but it got separated from the government and was created as a obscure private entity.The RSI was never certified by a "commissaires aux comptes" and any of them refused to do so, so the RSI had legal power by the gov to do the shit it did but it shouldn't have been able to do so because the safeguard that is the certificates were never delivered.Thus they did whatever they wanted, they ruined the live of thousands, make life hell to people like my family, we worked over 120 hours per week for about 10 years to avoid failure which finally happened with the covid lockdowns.

Heard a virologist explain this very well on Spanish TV the other day. Apparently the vaccines only take part of the virus's DNA and your immune system reacts to that part in the virus. When you get and recover from Covid your immune system has a recollection of all the virus's DNA so it is much stronger.As I was writing this an analogy occurred to me, it's like a police force has a partial description of a terrorist, let's call him Mr CV19, of the upper part of his face, say, and goes around arresting and reacting to people who bear that resemblance. Then they get a full body description of the guy, height, full face, gait etc. So they can target him more precisely. But after a time the police force "forgets" what the terrorist looks like and is no longer on alert, so it lets slip people past them that it shouldn't. A new "Wanted CV19" campaign is required to track down Mr CV19 (booster). Plus of course our viral terrorist can disguise himself...

Each variant is slightly different, so your immune system will have to deal with each of them. The less clickbaity mainstream media has generally been reporting the state of scientific evidence quite accurately, from the death rate to vaccine effectiveness. Would be nice if there was a way for us to know by how much the US death rate was inflated due to this monetary incentive.Nevertheless, the CFR of 3% and IFR of 0.5% to 1% aren't just based on US data, you get similar data from pretty much any country around the globe.Besides, the guy said pretty clearly that this isn't unique to COVID-19. The deaths during the HIV epidemic were apparently also likely to have been inflated in some cases, which doesn't exactly mean that the HIV epidemic was not something to take seriously.

Still, the chances being death, I'd rather take the free vax to get that 0.5% - 1.0% chance down to 0.1% or whatever, plus wear a mask occasionally to reduce it further.(Actually it should be much less than 0.5 - 1.0 for me personally, since I'm relatively young and healthy. Fear of COVID-19 wasn't the driving factor behind my choice to get vaxxed as much as it was to avoid inconvenience.)

I did a little "cutting phase" once because I was starting to get a belly from bulking too much and it's freaking painful.Never did drugs or cigarettes but it should really go without saying that quitting is difficult.Honestly I think it sounds like an ok idea on a purely logical level to let people sign a "don't treat me if I get COVID" form if they don't want to be fined for refusing vaccination. Unlikely to be legal so it won't actually happen but it honestly sounds smart to me.

You literally starve yourself and lose maybe 0.5kg a month and can't even detect it properly due to constant variation in your weight, especially with the initial 2-3 kg you lose that's just water or stuff in your gut or something and comes back immediately the moment you continue eating more.

I even kept up the intermittent fasting to not get fat too quickly from staying at home most of the time, and I exercise on holidays to lose whatever I gained.What's hard isn't the process but the mentality. The people who are fat still are because they can't follow that kind of program because they either developed an eating disorder or because they hate exercising.
