They're completely ignorant as to how agriculture works as well, and don't realize you can't just flip a switch and use land for row crops instead of beef production. And they don't seem to understand that row crops probably more destructive to environment than cattle grazing etcI think there's a good middle ground here, which would be promotion/subsidizing small scale grass finished animals. This circumvents feed lots which is 90% of what these ppl bitch about, and is a lot less harmful to biodiversity and carbon cycle in soil etc
