The most you could really do is alter their knowledge about feminism and the left supporting transition and give them some data, but I think they will just use women without really being respectful towards us. Only other women seem to have the potential to care about women as a whole. Conservative women also follow their own ideology and while some who peak about religion or their movement do join feminism, I think right now liberal women are the ones who need help with understanding the gender movement. Sadly most places where liberal women gather are very hostile towards questioning the gender narrative. I have tried in various groups and the energy changes instantly. :blobfoxthink:

The sex industry, beauty industry, and gender industry do not want feminism getting popular because it encourages health and self acceptance for women over buying hundreds in makeup, getting lots of plastic surgery or selling yourself on only fans. So it is less profitable.

I know that I talked to a few gals on Tumblr about this and they had a look and told me this place was not for them, although they are radfems too.And last week someone said Spin had the reputation of being anti-vax. Not sure if I would have joined if the platform had been anti-vax when I came in here the first time... That doesn't help either.

Another thing to remember is that the internet is kinda dead this time of year. It slows down around Thanksgiving and starts to pick up again in January. I am considering joining Gettr, just to see what's up over there. Twitter and Facebook are full of them(and worse, including pesos and traffickers) but everyone gives them a chance. Those are also all companies owned by the worst men out there. I find it iffy that people are always the most judgmental to woman run projects, especially when they don't show the same judgement to literally anything else. Personally I just tailor my feed and don't bother with things I don't agree with.

If someone is checking this place out for the first time and they happen to look at a time where there is post after post about it, I can see why they would think that it is the prevailing opinion.Now, I'm not saying that they should be banned or aren't allowed to share what they want to, I'm just saying that there is rarely anything posted that challenges any of it. I suppose that is a social media thing: if you are down the pub for a night out, you want it to stay good natured and to enjoy your time and you will generally be seeing those people again. If you fell out with your local village community at the rate people fall out on social media you'd speak to nobody within a week! On social media we are communicating with words, but not interacting fully as people. when you disagree with someone you know and like well, it's far less threatening to the ego or psyche or whatever as one knows there are other points of mutual agreement and respect. Ironic - an altruistic site went under because members could get more people to sign their petitions - and Zuckerberg & Co. reaped more benefits than the causes folks were promoting.I think I found out about Spinster from M.K. herself on a video. I like the format much better than Drop the T or Ovarit - it’s superior in every way, and I have enough women here I admire to keep me engaged. I have spent enough time here to know Spinster is not “an anti-vaxxer” site, though we have some, which is fine with me. I think the Rad Fems who complained too easily dismissed Spinster, or didn’t stay long enough to use their “mute” or “block” options.I don’t care for that saying “Less is more”; it’s not literally true & it’s so tired. What I will say is that every damned thing in this world doesn’t need to expand & get bigger & bigger. We don’t necessarily need more and more. I encourage myself to ask “Is this enough”? And don’t you know, it very often is.

Radical feminists are not necessarily pro abortion. But we do think that since the mother builds the fetus with her body and risks her life giving birth that she should choose whether or not to continue the pregnancy. Especially since women are less physically strong and might not be able to choose if they get pregnant in the first place (rape). I expect a "third position feminism" (3pf) to form in the coming years that will incorporate many of the same material issues that TERFs have without accepting their priors. I love Spinster and Ovarit and will continue to use them, but we should also use other social media tools to teach women who are not already “awakened.”All the social media platforms owned by men are full of misogynists and racists.That goes without saying.
