i don't understand: I've been doing everything wrong for the past two years (going out in public every day, never wearing a mask, not getting the jab, etc.) but i still haven't gotten the coof.what am i doing right?

@Evenkeeld @black6_ 😀 No no, not health shaming here. I had heard that smoking was actually somewhat protective against covid.And that being overweight meant you were more likely to get Covid.But both of those might be rumors...

@VeddyBadAng just had a friend's parents test positive, never v. Smokers. (Thought about that theory when I heard too!) Their cough is gross. Not really sure how to help them. I sent them FLCC info. 🤷Friend (their daughter) has been exposed/caught it twice. She's overweight.

@TekgurlUnplugged I caught it last January because I sat around a kitchen table with a big group of friends for 3 hours, 2 of whom had been diagnosed about 10 days earlier and thought they were in the clear.We all got the coof: young, old, healthy, overweight, didn't matter. And we all recovered just fine. One friend then gave it to her mom who was undergoing chemo for liver cancer and her dad, both elderly. They recovered, too.

@VeddyBadAng Yeah...I have a hard time believing we are all immune based on weight and or lifestyle choices. I would love to see the true data and the true results of "being positive" tests but we can't. So I live in a world where I am paranoid everytime I get sick and calm others when they think they are sick. 🤦 It's a little messed up.
