       @lanodan you know just as well as me that the socially acceptable "normal" way to transfer files now is unfortunately to pass them through a tech giant storage service like dropbox or google drive

       @lanodan same, my entire irl circle keep asking me "but how on earth can you communicate without {whatsapp,facebook messenger,snapchat,etc}"to which my answer is typically "just send me a god damn sms". After which they look at me like I just murdered their firstborn child

       @lanodan My work stuff is entirely separate. Because it basically requires Windows and Microsoft Teams.Outside of that I tell people to just send me an SMS on my personal phone if they need me. But luckily, people are so IM-only here that I basically never get an SMS
