@david I was only a kid during that time. I loved watching my Dad do stuff on his monochrome MS-DOS PC. He even got on the early internet once to do background checks and get information on people (he was a part time private investigator) on MS-DOS.

@dudebsd Sadly I wasn't a thought-of speckle in the nutsack until 90' 😆 My earliest expierence of computing/the Internet was around 2004. Windows XP was becoming popular, MSN Messenger was the hip-thing to use in school'. Parents would cuss you for using the dial-up all day

@syscrash Oh, I see. But I want the monochrome CRT aspect of it more than that. I have a portable LCD screen, RasPi 4 and my Pinephone, they can already do those things. Maybe if I ran coolretroterm it would be the closest I guess :dude_shrugging:
