@cvogLuckily beans and nuts are such a huge part of their diet here you could probably be a vegan here and get a pretty healthy intake of protein and vitamins.

@freemo Indeed, being a vegan for the last 25 years and living in Greece I'd say their diet is close to the Greek one, possibly heavier in terms of cooking and calories

@cvogAside from the fact that they keep the skin on the chicken its fairly light fair id say. Certainly has some passing similarity to greek food.

@cvogThey are next to eachother, so yea im expecting a lot of similarity. From my expiernce with israli food in the usa they lean more into the couscous and chickpeas
