@pcy I wanted to add "required" to this, but that would have required more than 4 options, so I went with "US based" vs "non-US based."There's also "age group" here that would need to go along with that curriculum - it may be that in the US, it's no longer taught as part of the required curriculum - whereas it _was_ when I was in school. But that was pre-internet, pre-home computers. (In most homes. Some friends had them. I can't say I could touch type on my Timex Sinclair's membrane keyboard...)

I would say yes but now that you have questioned it, it does bring up "does a class that is outside the normal curriculum count" -So for the purposes of this: if it was a class taught in a school building, then yes.And now I'm seeing a lot of issues with the polling system in Mastodon (:

@Truck I can touch type but don't have proper form. Example: I never use my pinky finger for "a".Didn't learn in school, my dad got some typing software when we first got a PC. Made it about half way through the lessons before I lost interest, hence the improper form.
