Hm, I put gas in my car today. I haven't put gas in my car since the 16th of November.

@mikeNice! I go about a month before putting gas in my car, and it's a compact, so not much gas needed.

@normandc We've been driving our minivan almost exclusively, but it's a Hybrid, so it gets pretty good gas mileage.

@mike YMMV :-) I've only refueled our car once since March 2020. The Pandemic has definitely reduced our carbon footprint.

@dentangle Our carbon footprint has been greatly reduced. We own three cars which we used to drive all of them pretty regularly. One of them is new this spring, and since then we have only taken the other ones out around the block a few times to make sure wildlife doesn't move into the engine compartment. One of them hasn't been filled since last year some time, the other since we bought the new car. The new car is the only one we've filled since March or April.

@mike Only things I've fed to my car are electrons and washer fluids.

@beerw0lf I've been noticing that's much more prevalent lately. There are several houses in my neighborhood that have all electrics. One has two Teslas, and another a Chevy Bolt and a Tesla. Seems like it's becoming more and more of a thing at least around me. I think the car we bought this spring is going to be my last gas fueled car just based on trends in technology.

@mike I've been driving my Leaf since 2017. No real complaints, its a nice drive. Range is not great but my typical commute is around 100km (62mi), this car is perfect for that. When the family takes a longer +500km (310mi) trip, then we'll take the petrol car.
