       Apparently Fedi is a lot like Reddit, just disguised as something Twitter-like...They have small and sometimes fringe communities with different interests. (Subreddits vs instances)There are memes and stuff.Oh, also P**n. Why? idk, but Reddit apparently has that crap too.Really the main difference is Reddit is on one company's servers, while the Fedi has hundreds of independent instances.

       @thatonecalculator @avalos @Linux_in_a_Bit well, that's just what happens when you have something like the Federated timeline, an easy-to-manipulate bot API (*cough* bots that post "anime" every 10 to 30 minutes), and a decentralized service that not everyone's really monitoring, depending on the ones who host the service.it's a double edged sword, really.
