Anyone familiar with mushrooms?Found these growing in a planter box amongst my strawberries.I'm definitely not going to try eating them, and they're high up enough to be out of reach of the kids.#mushrooms

@rolaveric I cannot tell u the species but it is likely an amanita of some sort. Most mushrooms are not toxic to touch. If you could take one out and take closer pictures of the whole mushroom, as well as what it looks like under the cap, that may be helpful.

@pixouls @rolaveric that looks a bit like a flowerpot parasol https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leucocoprinus_birnbaumii but I might be biased by the fact that they are constantly popping up in my vivariums.

@rolaveric also as an amanita, it may "bloom" or fan out. So you can have a sense of it's maturity thru that as well.

@grumpy @rolaveric yeah I'm also kind of debating if it's a parasol. It may be helpful to know if the ring moves and if the scales can be brushed off.
