       recently had the idea of creating a 4x4 grid of #uxn machines that communicate with their immediate neighbors via devices. they would run independently in parallel -- a bit like how 144 greenarrays computers are set up on a 12x12 grid running polyforth.

       this is arguably a solution looking for a problem, although i could imagine it being nice to be able to put the different interrupt handlers on different machines while doing continuous processing elsewhere
