       Hey @graf udev just did a fucky wucky and renamed my Ethernet connection so now it doesn't load up. Is there an easy fix for this?

       @shadowferret yes if that was already active, add a # at the beginning of that line I don't know what your prior interface name was but i presume you want net.ifnames=0

       @graf @shadowferret Graf would he want to use the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT instead of GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX like:GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="some.var=3 some.othervar=1 net.ifnames=0"

       @cosmo @shadowferret his /etc/default/grub config file already had an entry for disabling the updated interface naming scheme so all he has to do is uncomment the line. if that's where they want it, it should be fine. I trust the gentoo maintainers
