@meghanmurphy Teen boys have had pornography exposure since your dad was young. Before the internet was ubiquitous it would have been porno mags, but it has been happening for 40+ years now.You do have a point, though, because the level of exposure has gotten ridiculous. Kids can readily access fetish content and have developed a fetish before they even have hair on their balls. Surely it's not healthy.

@FrustratedTherapist @meghanmurphy You have to remember Buck Angel has a vested interest in people (men... ) continuing to see no issue with the increasingly violent, degrading content that they watch to get off - rather than using their imaginations. It's hard to sell sex toys to people who are quite capable of having perfectly healthy, consented to sex, that doesn't have to cause harm to one party for the other to orgasm.

@dave @meghanmurphy weird little story: i once made my mom buy me a CD-ROM named “100 Spill” (100 Games). the games were crap of course, but for some fucked up reason, the people who made this disc hid a folder of hentai on there… and that was my first exposure to it. i was about 13 at the time.

god knows what they were thinking. anime wasn’t even widely known in Norway at the time. people in the 90s didn’t know that Japan had so many cartoons. when Japanese shows made it here, they were always dubbed, so you didn’t know which country it came from. i only later came to recognise some of the shows i watched as a kid as being imported and dubbed anime.
