@codewizThis one was huge in France. There it is called "Goldorak".Probably due to the numerous anime broadcasted in the 80s/90s, France became the 2nd largest market for manga (still 17 less than Japan I think), and half of the comics there are manga (and there is a big tradition of franco-belgian comics)

@codewizMaybe it looks complicated because they have a process similar to trains where the staff use hand gestures and describe actions to be sure that none is missed.

For being an anime series promoting a transformable toy robot, Daitarn 3 had pretty good humor.
