       Yesterday, the scroll wheel on my mouse broke. Since then, I've realized that there are a TON of sites on the Internet that are super annoying to view without one.

       @mike I had something similar, it might be that it is just dirty and you can easily remove the dirt once opened.Unfortunately you might need to rip off some glider pads, which are quite cheap.

       @mike that would be super annoying.  Especially if the middle click stopped working too.  I open stuff in new tabs with that a lot.

       @sotolf That works in most normal conditions, but it seems like several of the pages I use have more than one scrolling column? In those cases, just mousing over the column and scrolling has always worked so seamlessly. I never even thought about how reliant on the scroll wheel I'd become.

       @mohs Well, the wheel ratcheting stopped working, so I'm guessing it's a little bit more involved. The mouse itself has become pretty odd lately. Clicking and dragging windows has also become problematic as the mouse will just let go of the window for me when I'm moving the mouse. Then it "reclicks" on whatever my mouse happens to be over at the time. All without me moving a finger. I just think that it's time for a new one.

       @mike Yeah, the Mastodon web client is always losing focus on which column we want to scroll down with the keyboard...Annoying as hell.Even with a nice client like #Sengi scrolling with a mouse is way easier.@sotolf
