       I feel like there's a point where clickbait thumbnails become SO absurd that they actually discourage click-through because you know the version of the video that exists in your imagination is funnier

       I think if a youtuber is making a hammy face in response to something in their thumbnail, at least 70% of the video should consist ONLY of them making that face and gesturing excitedly at the object of their surprise
