@mcread It's very disturbing.I'm a foreigner living in Germany and I'm absolutely stunned how quickly fascist, and authoritarian tendencies have become mainstream.Before the elections, all the main politicians said a vaccine mandate is not on the cards, almost immediately afterwards they all do a 180 and now call for a universal vaccine mandate.And the people... it's as if they have zero ability to put things into historical context and see the parallels to the past.

@muppeth @thomas Exactly.There are so many things that don't make sense, unless you reframe it as either some kind of mass psychosis or some attempt to institute a new form of societal control (e.g. social credit score).The German vaccines commission STIKO, don't want to mandate vaccines for children 5 to 11 because they say there aren't enough studies showing lack of harmful side-effects.And yet, the politicians want to push through regardless and the media is cheering.

Like @drazraeltod mentioned: These events cannot really be compared since one is persecution based on ethnicity / religion / habits... And the other one is people getting mad about their fellow citizens acting anti-social. I don't want to say I support the writing on the windows - in fact I think it's terrible that people have radicalized so quickly - but I want to express that we're talking about different things. @jcbrand

This is cognitive dissonance and stupidity to read the law that any kind of apartheid torture is a war crime. He is complicit responsible for this regime so he will defend the regime because it's protecting him until he realizes once the regime can't move with noncompliant they will turn against the own collaborators and make him suffer or once regime falls, he will reap all he deserves. Label of collaborator for whole generation of his family and most of them will be executed for crimes against humanity.

@mcread they are an obedient lot. Lived in W. Germany when there was one and traveled Thru the east and saw the difference. I don’t think enough of the west Germans made that trip. Mind blowing really.
