Who knows, perhaps I should try to read more of the novels, except I find the whole thing depressing because [BIG spoiler].But it’s really no spoiler at all to mention that the great motivation of one of the two initial Galactic Heroes is bringing down that dynasty, the corrupt system of nobles who run the Empire, and much of their “totalitarian” system (there I’m quoting the wiki, but authoritarians don’t need GULAGs).So getting to my point, if you’ve watched enough anime you might have recognized the pattern where the bad guys have the best uniforms. The old Empire which Reinhard starts out with as his base material and the Free Planets Alliance (FPA) by then … neither are good guys.So in the original series we see the FPA having by far the sharpest uniforms, and the Empire having by far the best looking ships (the PFA’s aren’t even atmosphere capable). Do you @Vril_Oreilly see a pattern like this in the new version? For that matter, any visual continuity between the two series to begin with??

I believe it was @Prodigal who exposed his ruse, but he would know the story better than me. The point is, nobody in this case is doing anything here but freely speaking their mind. My attitude is that if there is someone on Fedi who you don’t like, then don’t read their posts or just mute them.
