       I have posted here about a pattern I see in articles appearing on CNN’s website that are incongruously factual.I recently posted about a series of articles from the South China Morning Post. I occasionally post on articles from Arab News and other sources.Don’t take this to mean that I am widely or deeply read.I dive into these sites occasionally to take samples & see how they fit into the patterns I see coalescing.I’m a surface skater, never forget!Just sayin’ to be an honest source.

       @Andre What you describe as surface skating is exo-atmospheric for a large majority of citizens. For most people, checking to make sure their Starbuck's order is right is the closest they'll come to being informed.

       @Andre If you're seeing factual information that does not (necessarily) supports the establishment narrative at places like CNN, the simplest answer is either they have been breached and subverted, or have been offered their path to repentance. Im OK with either.

       @Andre It is also possible that to some extent the media outlets are responding to market forces and job security, or at least their expectations of what that will be long term. There are people in those organizations who know damned well that something's going down. They want to survive and getting on the right side of the shifting narrative will be essential. It's a tell, one way or the other.

       @Andre Another way of thinking about this is to look at the consumer market, and the effect on advertisers. Which is growing and which is declining? MAGA, the political right, populists, disillusioned Dems, etc vs. Establishment Dems and the Woke Left? I think the difference is significant and growing daily. Money talks and bullshit walks.
