       @redwhitebluedude I would point to the efforts made by a “benevolent” government to “help” them. Women, white and black, are rewarded for having children out of wedlock. They have it made if they can bear children and don’t mind living in abject poverty. Many believe it is the only option they have.  Males of such mothers have few options that seem attainable to them and they take to the streets in search of father figures and money, hence gangs overrun the neighborhoods they live in.

       @redwhitebluedude @TerriC Cocaine is illegal where I live. I don’t see how further legislation can help the problem of consumption, in fact, the current laws have given office to those who distribute drugs on a black market. The money we waste prosecuting addicts does nothing to solve the problem. Drug addiction can’t be punished out of a person, and as you can see, the cartels lose very little compared to what they gain.
