I understand why Mary being a virgin and birthing a child was considered a miracle...thus people saying "the virgin Mary" but when they add "ever virgin" it goes too far. They say she never had sex and her womb was sacred after that, and that any siblings of Jesus referenced in the bible were Joseph's kids from a deceased wife. It's the obsession that they can't look up to a woman who had sex that bugs me. Like anything that makes her human would disqualify her from being held in high regard. I could care less if she ever had sex after or not, it's just their constant acknowledgement about it that's bizarre.
