I'm fine btw :) I was lucky to only have mild symptoms and to be able to quarantine in a massive villa. We mostly hung out at the beach and ate ubereats. 🥳🇿🇦 #capetown #travel #sabbatical #southafrica

@Gina How was the process in getting to know it was omicron?Did you get a generic positive test and then later get informed of the variant? Or was it contact tracing?

@rune I did a generic rapid test and a full PCR test (both positive), then more or less concluded I might have the #omnicron variant, based on the mild symptoms and the fact that I could still smell and taste food.
