So you know how we just got a new puppy? Well, we found out a couple of days ago that our cat has suddenly gone blind. Poor thing.So we're having to balance the two - a puppy and a blind cat are NOT a good mix.Just to add to all that, one of my sons tested positive for COVID yesterday.Fuck. My. Life.

@kev Ah man. That's rubbish. My cat has been recently diagnosed with epilepsy, so that a tablet every 12 hours for life!What caused the blindness?

@gidorah atrophy in the blood vessels in her eyes. It's a real shame - she used to love going out on the farm behind out house, now she has to stay indoors. :(

@kev A real nightmare. Our biggest worry is that one of our children will be infected with Covid. Does the whole family have to be quarantined now? All the best to you and your family. I hope that all the other family members stay healthy.

@pantos no. Rules here in the UK are that if you're fully vaccinated (which my wife and I are) then you don't need to quarantine; just take a lateral flow test every couple days.We're trying to quarantine as best we can though, just in case.Other son just tested positive too :(

@mike yeah. Younger one has worse symptoms, but generally the same. We’re still testing negative, for now…
