       @chance Mine honestly wasn’t terrible and was so surprised. I thought the first two were going to be be the death of me. Have some good movies and food queued to keep your mind off of it?

       @unimagine @chance I got a J&J jab yesterday instead of a third Pfizer dose, with the vague idea that mix-&-match would give me better coverage against emerging variants. Today, in addition to soreness in my arm, I had fever, flu-like symptoms, & severe indigestion. That may be pure coincidence, though, as I've been having sinus trouble for weeks.

       @publius I had the same thought, as my first 2 were Pfizer. Do you have a mild sinus infection? Because your symptoms sound like what I experienced every time I’ve had one.

       @unimagine In fact I delayed getting the vaccine until a few days had passed after I finished the antibiotics I was prescribed for a sinus infection. Although I did get some relief from them, I'm wondering if I actually have a fungal infection, which antibiotics wouldn't help with.

       @publius in my experience, if I don’t take advil cold & sinus for a week to help clear out everything while taking the antibiotics, they don’t do much. Have to solve the root problem.

       @unimagine I have awful trouble when the weather is changing.A few years back, it got so bad in the spring that I was unable to sleep because I couldn't breathe. So I went to the "urgent care" place (this was a Sunday) & they gave me a steroid shot. I spent the next couple of hours blowing what appeared to be a pint of craft glue out of my nose.

       @unimagine After going around & around with our Wonderful American Medical Apparatus, I've got a referral to an ENT. And I'll probably be able to get an appointment in the first quarter of next year. Yippee!

       @publius @unimagine This crossed my mind for a hot second too. In the end, I got the Moderna booster after having Moderna+Moderna.Really just because vaguely I felt like Moderna was the underdog going into Covid, I kind of root for them.
