       A friend of mine set up a mastodon node and can't seem to figure out how to federate.  Looking at the docs, I can't seem to find any details about it.Can someone point me in the right direction?

       @preflex @mike you need to follow one another. You need their full handle- @user@instance so your full handle is @ preflex @ fosstodon.org (spaces added so it doesn’t truncate).If you can’t find their handle in a search in order to follow them, try searching their profile as a url instead of a handle. For example https://fosstodon.org/@preflex
