       @bob maybe we need to think beyond Web. Of course its threads stand for the interconnectedness, but also it is where spiders catch their flies.Web3 is also increasingly captured by the #chained and Chains vNext might then become Web4.So what might be a better term then? It should express:- Open (standards)- Freedom- People- Inclusive- Diverse- Equal (level playing field)- Accessible

       @humanetech@mastodon.social @bob@epicyon.libreserver.org i find that the whole "web X" a thing of marketing and annoying.  but maybe it's because i also find synergy annoying, too.  we should, as you mention, think beyond the "web X" nomenclature.  seize it as our own.

       @bob I like "fabric" though its a bit vague (but so is Web.. one has to get used to it).The Lace?The Interlace?The Weave?The Interweave?The Openwork?The Interwed?The Hyperunion?The Hyperbond?The Peopleverse?The Omniverse?The Socioverse?The Digiverse?The Digiscape?I don't know. This will be very hard to get from the ground.
