It’s not about the nail. Sometimes people were just put on this world to suffer, like because they want to. Most people actually enjoy the opportunity to degrade and pity themselves. The only real way to hurt their feelings is to suggest them to overcome their self-imposed problems. My website: https://lukesmith.xyzGet all my videos off YouTube: https://videos.lukesmith.xyzor Odysee: https://odysee.com/$/invite/@Luke:7Please donate: https://donate.lukesmith.xyzOR affiliate links to things l use:https://www.vultr.com/?ref=8384069-6G Get a VPS and host a website or server for anything else.https://www.epik.com/?affid=we2ro7sa6 Get a cheap and reliable domain name with Epik.

@luke Really good vid. I know exactly the psychological profile of people you're referring to... have to live with someone who endlessly complains about their job.

@luke I think you are describing the communist mentality, they really like pain and failure. You are on point I think, your mental state determines your next destination.

@luke C.S. Lewis has some very interesting things to say about this very thing. People who reject God would not even be happy in heaven were they to go there. It would only make them completely miserable.

@luke What kind of masochistic cult did you run into to think this? Everyone I run into looks at you strange if you complain too much.

Extremely based video. It is known that... If there is a problem, its easier to whine and moan about it, than fix it. They get upcummies by this, as they get others to agree and give them attention, e.g. "I know, right? How can this still continue?!"Honestly, this mindset is cancer, and I agree a lot of people have it, it is the modern/nihilistic mindset, the "life sucks anyway, haha". Something shitty happens to them and they will **actively** spread their shit to everyone else nearby.Talking of this problem, it is surprising you didn't even mention a possible solution. There are many solutions to the problem, which can be split in 2 categories:1. Depends on themselves fixing it, e.g. if they are somehow driven by something like success or improvement2. Depends on others fixing it. The best way is the classic self-correct mechanism of society - Shame. (subconsciously already done by this video even if you had no such goal feelsgoodman)

@luke Sounds like the description of leftists. They want everybody to be enslaved and suffer as long as their side wins over their political opposition.

@EmdotRand@baraag.net While this rarely happens in real life interactions, it is very obvious in the internet, where there is a constant outrage culture and a lot of people ranting about problems all day, all kinds of problems, even those which take little effort to overcome.People don't complain to strangers in real life, and if you do, you will get shamed or avoided, as you said. This is not true in the internet, where you will always find someone who agrees with you, and can form an echochamber of self-pity, and instead of fixing your problem, you simply spend your time absorbing attention.

@luke This is the real redpill. People don't just want something to complain about, they want to suffer and hate anything that makes people happy

> some people like Hell> no transition bridge to a shallow talk about individual wealth coming out of "the void"> anyone formulating critics is jealous/bitter/resentful and cannot develop rational argument of why they think it's not the most optimal idea, and thus is not bad nor good, but a thing in between.I beg to differ and could argue for a long time on why any crypto atm is a failed attempt at solving centralized banking system, and wealth exploitation by a minority over a majority (ponzi scheming).I beg to differ on the fact that people disliking and criticizing something are culprit of jealousy and pain-compleasant. There sure are some people who really behave as you describe, transfering their pain. Some also might do it by a lack of knowledge. But you cannot throw the rest of people criticizing what you like by such a reduction. Tax/Crypto opinions should not be black and white. Unless you're trying to make a spectacle approach of what it would seem as a dichotomy. In my view, it's healthy to think the complexity of a tax system. True that, your NA system is corrupted by its debt emission, but that's a short-term aspect. Imagine tomorrow your country is not the first world economic power anymore. Some eastern country replaces your hegemony, takes over your debt control, and make you submit by foreign debts ? Then perhaps you'll consider redistribution of wealth and even see that profit can sometimes be exploitation of the weak at the core, the weak that is not your neighbor, perhaps 2 blocks away, perhaps 2 countries away. It's also healthy to keep thinking that, even if something is somewhat better or tending to become better, it is never "good enough" and thus needs to be criticized, polished, perfected, to better fit a majority of people and not content a minority of glutonic profiters. On an individual level ? Sure, lots of things should be contented as "good enough" to avoid suffering. But when you live with more than 1 person, "good enough" for you alone is not good enough in my view. That's not even Society as a whole i'm pointing at. A family, friends, neighbors. What's the minimal common denominator of your surroundings that's good enough. Now that's some complex question we should strive to ask, and perhaps attempt to respond to.Thanks for having read me so far.
