@Nesakko I don't have the numbers in front of me right now (or even remember how I found out) but the amount of anime on Japanese TV today is over 10x as much as in just 1993.

@Moon I don’t know about Japanese TV broadcasting, but here in France, my parents, who are in their 50s, grew up with anime for part of their teenage years, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there were a lot more in Japan. That said, I agree that there are too many of them today, they are even somehow representative of Japanese culture, when a foreigner thinks Japan, he thinks anime, it’s a shame

@noggindoggin Anime isn't really total depravity but there are definingly certain aspects of it that are in fact extremely depraved but it is not inherent to the medium itself and would do much better if it had gotten rid of the baggage. Take western cartoons for example, Micky mouse is most likely a gay faggot now or the Disney department tries really hard to imply that but in the 50's he wouldn't be depicted as such.
