       I’m almost certain my soon-to-bo-ex wife has (among other things) DID—Dissociative Identity Disorder. So I guess it is a real thing. In real life, it’s not “multiple personalities” so much as a very unstable and fractured mind that doesn’t/can’t fully communicate with itself. Under enough stress, she turns on a dime into a glassy-eyed, walking, talking, defense mechanism who literally can’t remember what she was saying or doing 5 minutes ago. It’s WILD, from rational to genuine psychosis in the blink of an eye. I truly hope she gets the help she needs, but I can’t deal with that level of crazy anymore, and am rather relieved she recently filed for divorce.At least the sex was really good for most of those 16 years…
