The judge said in court that the prosecution had committed a grave constitutional violation. No mistrial. Then they withhold evidence. No mistrial. Media follows juries home. No mistrial. What the hell has to happen to cause a mistrial?

@Dawnz If (big if) the judge grants a mistrial, he will not do so until the verdict is in.If not guilty, no harm, no foul.If hunger or guilty, he may set it aside and declare a mistrial.He already hinted at that sequence.

@Debradelai @Dawnz I thought I felt a hint on that but wasn't sure. Then I had a devastating thought about how the judge's behavior could all be a show to placate the right so they can't complain about judicial bias while the jury finds him guilty.

@Dawnz I have the hardest time listen to anything the prosecution says. It's all so cringe-worthy it makes me feel like I'm breaking out in hives

@RikkiTikkiTavi I listened to it all..The prosecution raised my blood pressure I think but I listened,cringing through it, seeing what holes in their story I noticed.

@Dawnz Any reasonable person and this judge seems reasonable would see that there should be an acquittal; clear self defense. Maybe the judge is hoping for an acquittal; that would putt an end to this for the courts at least. No appeals.

@Debradelai @Dawnz Not sure if the judge has the cajones to call a mistrial with prejudice. If he does, he will be seen and targeted as the singular entity that let him go.
