My kid had to get his wisdom teeth removed and the wife took him. Sign on the door said masks required. They walked in. The desk lady said do you have a mask. No. Desk lady started fumbling with a pack and wife says no. She thought she might have to find another place but that was the end of it. She said the lady looked very confused. Guess my woman was serious when she said she wasn't doing it anymore

@mrman your story doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I had cataract surgery in Mexico. And I wore a mask into the building and they replaced it with one that was 1/3 is thick that I wore throughout the surgery. Have you checked if you live in a communist country?

@mrman I went to get mine done last year and only one person who was a customer there had a mask on. The sign on the door says "you won't be able to wear a mask while in surgery" So I assume ppl just didn't care to have it on at all.

@mrman Same thing happened to me at the orthodontist for my daughter. She wanted me to wear a mask so I said I’d just wait in the car. She asked if I’d been vaxxed and I said no, but I already had covid. She said don’t worry about it and let me stay without a mask. Next time I went, no other parents had a mask either.
