@r4df3mcynthia I believe etymologically “jab” originates from boxing jabs as in “Schofield took a short sharp jab to the gut” so something short and sharp and perhaps a little painful. Now “prick”, on the other hand that really is derogatory. Speak of a covid prick and you’re probably talking about Boris Johnson 😄
