Who here on Fediverse is using or has used Fathom Analytics (https://usefathom.com)? What are your thoughts on them?I'm considering moving my website analytics (yet again, to Fathom or a competitor) and I'm looking for other's point of view and opinions.

@kev right now nothing.I was previous using stats(.)ws but it seems to be completely down (including their email).Their DNS records show nothing (https://www.nslookup.io/dns-records/stats.ws#authoritative).I have used Matomo (self-hosted) in the past and while it was great, it only had one server location. Which meant it was slow for those who are located on the other side of the world (to where the server was located).

@g I’ve never used Fathom, but have used both Plausible and GoatCounter, both of which were fine.Problem with any JS based analytics is that a tonne of people block them (this is a good thing!) so the stats are never accurate, but rather indicative at best.

@kev I don't really care that they aren't 100% accurate, I'm curious what pages people are going to and producing more content around that.Or what pages aren't doing well and editing them to hopefully get more readers.
