I finally grok what white supremacy is. It's not white power, per se; but, rather, the persistent assumption that historical US American "Western" "European" English-speaking culture—including laws, language, norms, enforcement, protocol, behavior, and education—is de rigeur and proper, any other interpretation being wrong, even lawless or illegal. Is that closer? If that's the definition, does any heartfelt belief that America's an English speaking, Christian nation, approaches white supremacy?

@chris By that definition, yes, but this definition is used because the word showed effectiveness at pushing back critics, not the word for it's definion. A different word usage will change "white supremacy" is no longer effective-- they're already jumping through hopes to exclude Asians.

@futurtastic I know that but now that I know what it means, it's lost it's effectiveness. I guess I thought that white supremacy==white power or white pride. Even: truth, value, and the American way is hella white supremacist.
