@JonossaSeuraava Noisetorch for noise removing micLinux does RAM caching by itselfFps lock is probably possible with valve compositor thingyThere are software to configure some of logitech's shit. Support may vary. For simple-ish video editing there's kdenlive, if you seen my original video menes they were made in that.

@duponin @hj the xpslit thingy is not for broadcasting or screen capture. It's a AI powered webcam fuckery thingy. It's supposed to do the same thing as green screen but with software only

@kumicota @hj @duponinsounds complicated. I will most likely go back to shotcut as I have little expirience with it and it was more than good enoug. All I do is slap clips togeter and cut them a bit. Filmora had some auto color adjustment thing which looked nice enough in my eye but that is probably more than doable with other tools if I spent the time to learn them.

@JonossaSeuraava @hj @duponin for primocache, a lot of linux filesystems supports it, the ones I know are zfs and lvm https://ahelpme.com/linux/lvm/ssd-cache-device-to-a-hard-disk-drive-using-lvm/

@kumicota @hj @duponin Now that I think about it a bit more. I probably shouldn't even have mentioned caching. The goal is the get a nas and migrate the only hdd over there anyways

@hj btrfs is something that I'm intersted to learn too. I'd like to pool my ssds together and what ever else benefits it offers.luckily my mouse has onboard memory so I could feasibly run a windows vm for occasional config changes.I've used shotcut before which is similar to kdenlive (afaik running the same what ever engine behind the scenes). I meant to mention that bu mesterdon said no more chars boi.I also heard of some other noise canncelation software. But anyways it's not essential.

@JonossaSeuraava just don't go on full-freetard gentoo only, brtfs, wayland pipewire xmonad etc right away, you'll only get hurt. Get a working system first and get comfy, then you can experiment

@hj @JonossaSeuraava Some folks like DaVinci Resolve, but there are others...If you want to manage logitech LEDs there are multiple apps for that. I think OpenRGB works for a lot of stuff, but I forget the name of what I use with a better interface as this box has none. :3
