exwm amuses me. The idea that someone could replace all of the apps they use over time with emacs modes, functions, and internal applications to the point that they just get rid of eveything else and use emacs as their window manager is funny to me. Its also a reason to try emacs to find out why the heck something could be that popular. :emacs:

@artyr3Yeah I think there is something to be said for having a consistent interface across apps. I feel so productive with text and moving around in emacs and then when I go to the browser the key bindings are so inefficient. Haven't had the courage to try exwm yet though haha

@artyr3 Java had the same phenomenon with eclipse. IIRC, the IDE started becoming a guI for things developed in the IDE.How's your LISP?

@artyr3 I used to be a wizard on the old HP calculators with the RPN entry ~ same complexity, no parentheses 😝You know about vi paren/braces/bracket matching? % I think. Emacs must have one too.
