@TheMadPirate Whaddaya know, there's nothing Inevitable about progressive fads becoming normalized, including various civil rights/minority rights scams, if the Right just pushes back against that shit, it can usually win. Problem is, most of the so-called political Right has for the last 75 years been Controlled Opposition.

@ChristiJunior Yeah, I know.I see that in my own country too.The thing about progressive fads is that they are self-destructive. Since they have a zero-sum game mentality that means they have to "wipe with the elbow what they wrote with their hands", meaning they would lose support from the very same people 10 years ago they claimed to support. In the end, those people won't come back to the left, no once they realize how much they have been lied. Regarding the controlled opposition, sadly it's a feature not a bug, as much as I love individualism, it also means that individualist will be much more tolerant and accepting of political refugees. That's why you end up with people like Dave Rubin who 15 years ago was a TYT staff member, now calling himself a conservative. Much of the ethos of individualism is that you are not bound to group think or collective brainwashing, so you are able to change how you think into a more conservative-ish mindset. But that also means, many of those people will still carry on liberal sentiments deep down. But then again, the Republican party proud itself to be the "big tent party" exactly for that very same reason, its unabashed individualism.

@ChristiJunior @TheMadPirate I'm not convinced they're principled progressives, but race generally comes before religion for them. Most blacks straight up won't side with whitey on the culture wars no matter how much they side with Dave Chappelle over the troon squad.

@ChristiJunior @TheMadPirate And I don't even like to admit it because there's quite a few black people I genuinely like. But "fuck whitey" is too prevalent and prominent for them to have a chance of fitting into some sort of civnat assimilationism en masse. Hispanics maybe, Asians kind of have their own thing going on where they're not on our side but only reluctantly go along with the left. Blacks will do whatever and not really budge with their Dem support as long as the gibs and racebaiting continue.
