My patience with the endless contractions is wearing thin. My cervix is not. It’s all I can do to hold off ranting on Facebook and putting all my GV views out there, because I am absolutely looking for a fight and I’m surrounded by wokesters and this is bullshit. You don’t get to colonize womanhood unless you’re prepared to own all the shit that comes with it - and none of these men have the ovaries to endure it.

So there are lovely Braxton Hicks sometimes, which are reassuring… then there’s promodol (false) labour which usually leads to the real thing within a week… Then there is the living hell of an irritable uterus, which is all the contractions for several weeks with zero impact on my cervix (ok minimal, we’re at 2.5cm ove two weeks). Oh! And sometimes they last up to an hour. 😂😂I honestly didn’t know this was a thing. But I’m losing the plot b/c I’m just at 36 weeks. Babe would be fine, but I would like to get to 37 weeks. @Gelatinousrube @Fullycaffeinated @Froggo I was almost a month overdue so a friend from my single mums prenatal class and I went driving in my VW, over many hills and bumpy roads, fast. Nothing worked and I had to be induced in the end. It was just too much, what with the allergic reaction to estrogen flooding my body - or something - rash was right in the stretch marks. I hope you deliver on the very date you want.
