       Just saw someone with a household income of 800k(!!) complaining they'd been priced out of the bay. Is this at all grounded in reality? If so, holy crap

       @mil I knew people in the Bay working part time at Peets who were  thrifty enough to still have a decent studio apaertment in the east bay. Claiming 800k is not enough to live in the Bay Area is just offensive to those who actually are. One must question whether 'priced out of the bay' for them means 'priced out of the luxury penthouse condo' they lived in.
