@furgar it's a good thing they're out pooping their pants in italy instead of having civil engineers out piling the containers :cirno_sip:

@furgar Stores have plenty of supply in southern Georgia (Publix, Winn-Dixie and Target all look completely normal). I've had friends tell me there are no supply shortages in Chicago (at least not visibly in the stores) and same from people in Tennessee near Nashville. But I keep seeing photos of low stock in seemingly random places. On the No Agenda show, JCD said there weren't shortages around him, but there were a few hours away (or it might have been the other way around?)What explains how spotty shortages are? If it's the same distribution of goods and bigger populations are just consuming them faster than resupply, why aren't they obvious in large metro areas like Nashville/Chicago?

@djsumdog @furgar aren't empty shelves typical in Chicago since Las summer tho? Maybe they just haven't noticed the looting is on the decline at the same time.

@djsumdog I'm in southern Illinois, five hours south of Chicago. The stores mainly look normal but we have shortages of weird stuff like bread for deli subs at Walmart. I don't think there is good explanation for anything on the television. I wonder how much of it is random truckers not wanting to be jabbed and finding work at other places.

@anonymoose @djsumdog @furgar A GOOD WAY TO STIMULATE ECONOMIC ACTIVITY IS TO GET PEOPLE TO CONSUME AND FEAR IS A GREAT MOTIVATOR.THIS ISNT AN ARGUMENT FOR WHY SHELVES ARE EMPTY ITS AN ARGUMENT FOR WHY SOME HAVE THE INCENTIVE TO CREATE A NARRATIVE OF EMPTY SHELVES IN PLACES THAT ARE PROBABLY IN BETWEEN RESTOCKING CYCLES.
