@SpaceElf I mean there's a lot of shit in that show I'd rather not see based on the parents guide. 4 seasons is also a lot. There's 152 episodes through Season 4 and there's apparently 50 hours of video content for all seasons so it'd be like an hour a day every day for almost 3 months to get through it all.And then what? He wants me to stream this? Or do a review of the entire show? 1 hour reviews for each series (which are 39 episodes each)? It took me like 20 hours to get the Squid Games review done.Idk it just seems like your typical gay anime shit. I'd unironically ask for something like $500+ an episode just to livestream me watching an episode a day or something. My going rate with software development is $55/hr so even $100 an hour is just like, no. I'd rather just write code for a company.The sheer amount of time investment makes it an ugly proposition. Even if this was an offer to watch Breaking Bad it'd be unattractive. But this is anime. The gambit here is to get me to react to shit like child nudity and monkey rape. What am I supposed to do when watching an episode that just has a naked boy throughout the entire thing or a woman being sexually assaulted? Am I supposed to make jokes?

@josh I was genuinely unaware it was that many episodes. I figured standard 12-22 episode seasons, 22 mins a piece excluding openings and credits, I thought at most there’d be a third as many hours of shit to watch. You’re probably right to reject it on purely those grounds. I’ve only seen the first 3 episodes of season 1 and found them to be genuinely some of the worst television I’d watched, but I assume the hope is that you’d suffer through it, and they’d get ot watch you squirm, with the added potential of hearing le based internet man praise elements of the show they like. Liking Japanese animation and comics is self inflicted, dedicated suffering and gets worse over time with the decay of their society, tbh. The older shit in the 80’s and 90’s was generally solid and reliable. Adult characters, acting human, interesting stories. These days Japanese media refuses to make that shit because none of the whale consumers want it. They want to be fully absorbed in a world with no bills, no responsibilities that are meaningful, just eternal never-land, where they’ll never have to face the reality of adulthood and can perv on kids all day long. At least western media just wants you to marry and breed with a nig nog and go extinct, rather than try to peter pan syndrome yourself into an early grave. This does have me genuinely curious though, what would a single video review on a series that’s got 1 to 4 episodes at 22-39 minutes a piece run?With a hypothetically sexually clean or at worst adult and hetero parents guide ofc.
