She's clearly aging-woman-in-her-30s fat, but her skull's features stand out almost to the exclusion of everything else. Her hairline is so far back that it can be mistaken for the starting stages of male pattern baldness. Her skin is unnaturally smooth from her caked-on makeup that it only accentuates her thick wrinkles and crow's feet. Her kids are never treated as little human beings, but rather just props to be held up and thrown away to make some twisted point.It's the face of a person who is tremendously ugly on the inside and knows it.

It's when you get it in your alvioli and the sacs start to fill with fluid from the cells that you start seeing symptoms. I'm not super familiar with respiratory diseases though so if you could be more specific I'm interested in hearing.Presumably it's doing some damage to the body, but the real question is how bad and long term are any negative effects of an asymptomatic infection. I think there's cases in the literature about asymptomatic individuals suffering from long COVID, which is apparently debilitating. Most people don't suffer any noticeable effects.But then you get into hypotheticals similar to 'which alpha particle was it that gave you cancer, and where did it come from?'. Any effect from asymptomatic COVID that isn't readily identifiable at this point will probably take decades to actually compile. Like if the effect were an doubled likelihood of lung cancer over a 30 year period post-infection.
