       Since more than 3 years my wife is suffering from ME/CFS - a chronic illness that basically deprives one of almost all energy for anything. Very much like what's now known as Long COVID Syndrom. She's not able to take care of her daily life alone anymore and needs support for simple things like prepping a meal. Unfortunately this disease hasn't gotten much attention in Germany.  We lack medical care, support from doctors and hospitals and of course science on the causes and treatment.

       There is a petition to the German government to get this the attention it deserves : https://signformecfs.deThere are at least 250.000 people affected by ME/CFS, maybe much more since it's too easily mistaken for burnout, depression or psychosomatic issues (go tell that a Long COVID patient 🙄)More support and science for ME/CFS will also benefit those thousands of Long COVID patients as it's believed to have similar causes due to the same effects.
