@LuvGreenTea2019 A couple of times my cats have shown up with mockingbirds and I feel awful about it. Not sure if they killed them or found them dead already.

@polarisera @tangleofsnakes There were quite a few of these where I was staying in Mx recently. And there were quite a number of free running cats, even in that gated airbnb home. One of the cats next door was a cute rescue, missing an eye. But that didn't stop him practically living in the bamboo hedge between the houses. Every day I had to sweep at least twice to clear away all the gekko and bird poo. Great place for a hunting cat. And what cat isn't a hunter?

@Hollahollara @polarisera @tangleofsnakes No I got back on Saturday night. I found that tropical life is too grueling for me in my old age! ARGH. Mind you, I saw some incredible things, just basically hanging out at the two airbnbs and walking around a bit. The beach was absolutely scalding, including the SEA. Also the sea was completely filthy with sargasso and there was no sign it was going to clear up. The pool across the street was rad though. Super nice pool and pool house. (I might even have pics on my camera that have to transferred to my laptop which might take a few years.)I did meet some amazing people though. And I got the basic dental work I wanted done. Overall it was better than Thailand March 2020. Glad to be home but things are so complicated here too. Dang.
