       @drusillus @illusion I used my Yaesu FT-817 in SSB mode, transmitted to Icom IC-9100, which has a USB audio interface.To get the phase shift effect I just adjusted the transmitter frequency while speaking. Same technique was used in Star Wars when the rebels  attacked the Death Star.

       @illusion I wanted to make a realistic sounding numbers station but had to keep it short. I remember hearing them when I was a kid. They usually had little tunes that repeated over and over, then a voice, usually female, that sounded like each number was recorded individually on loops (which was probably the case). I added the "rubblizer out" after hearing a track sensor on the UP line radio finish up a report with "detector out!" and thought it sounded cool. https://www.trains.com/trn/train-basics/abcs-of-railroading/defect-detectors/
